The Brief

Salta sought to refresh its brand identity to align with a new corporate positioning platform. The goal was to communicate a more modern and progressive stance, provide greater internal and external consistency, and reinforce the company’s long-standing commitment to its purpose:

“Creating places of enduring value today and for future generations.”

They required an evolution — not a reinvention — that honoured Salta’s heritage while strengthening its relevance in today’s market.

Opportunity & Challenge

Salta’s evolving vision, strategy, and business footprint created an opportunity to evolve the brand beyond its origin story and reflect what the company is today: a multi-generational property developer operating across diverse sectors.

With more than 50 years of heritage, Salta’s visual identity needed to honour its legacy while signalling its growth well beyond its logistics beginnings. The brand also needed to operate effectively alongside numerous sub-brands, partners, and project-level identities.

The key challenge was to build on the existing brand equity while creating a cleaner, more contemporary system that delivers consistency across audiences, applications, and media.

Process

We conducted a series of workshops with Salta’s key stakeholders to understand their strategic direction, the intentions behind the refresh, and the brand values that needed to be expressed visually. This foundational work guided the design decisions across the entire identity system.

Solution

The refreshed identity highlights Salta’s long-term perspective, commitment to community, sustainability leadership, and the delivery of quality projects across multiple sectors.

It was clear early in the process that the brand required evolution, not reinvention. Awareness and recognition were already strong, so our focus became refining and elevating what existed.

We removed unnecessary visual complexity, creating a cleaner, more confident foundation for communications.

Introduction of a revised colour palette Inspired by iconic Victorian landscapes - anchoring the brand in place and heritage while feeling modern and sophisticated.

A consistent grid brings structure, balance, and spatial clarity across all media. It helps unify communications and supports the diverse needs of sub-brands and partners.

The updated typography introduces refinement and neutrality, enabling the identity to pair effortlessly with joint ventures and project brands without competing visually.

Together, these updates evolve the identity while preserving the brandmark and maintaining the recognition Salta has built over decades.

The design evolution visually expresses Salta’s sustainability focus and its long-term generational outlook as a family-owned business.

Result

The refreshed identity launched in July 2025 and was quickly embraced by the organisation. Adoption was smooth, with internal teams expressing renewed pride in the clarity and sophistication of the new system.

Externally, the refresh was announced through the company’s LinkedIn channels and recognised as a meaningful step in Salta’s continued evolution.

The refresh aligns with a period of strong momentum from Salta’s broader business activity that the new identity aligns with.
